Serenity by April Broeckx

You make me sane and serene,

With no other might I compare,

As all that is good is within you,

No other may take your place,

Not within this renewed heart,

Where fantasy meets with reality,

And all seems like a possibility,

No longer do I doubt your trust,

No more do I fret with inconsistency,

With you at my side, I can beat all odds,

And then take you home to be with me.

i really enjoyed this piece. while im not well versed in poetry, what i can say is really liked the flow and "sound" of this write. i also enjoyed the message. very sweet and also very powerful in that its so direct. you just lay it out there very matter-of-factly. again, a very enjoyable piece :)
