Cut Into My Soul

Cut Into My Soul

A Poem by May Flowers

Cut into my soul;

pierce my affection with blades.

Watch as desire drips from my veins,

staining white sheets,

draining sensations.

Cut into my soul;

slay my hope with a scalpel.

Exhaust each nerve with agony.

Torment the threads;

vanquish the beat.

Sink your teeth in me

with pain that slithers deep,

with poison strong and potent,

to make me sob,

to make me feel.

Tear apart my illusions

so that i can realize truth,

can know your utmost state

of journeys that will never cross.

Lend your knife in compassion.

Don't let me suffer numb and weak

but rather with mind sore and full

solicitous to suffer pure.

Cut into my soul

and in that moment short and sharp

satisfaction will await.

I never wanted any more.

Looking for connectedness. Cut into my soul, connect with me on the same level. It will hurt but it is worth it, truth may slay hope but might save my soul.

Love it.
