ARMLESS EMBRACE

ARMLESS EMBRACE

A Poem by april13
"

a promise of love across distance and time

"

here's a kiss

Flowing from my pen

Lingering,

longing,

Though we're apart.

know that you're forever

in my heart.

for we are fulfilling our dreams

separated-

yet

looking on the same horizon

heading to the same direction

let these verses thrill the soul,

until we can be together,

2 halves of a whole.

 feel my love

in these stanzas

bask in this ARMLESS EMBRACE

coz herein lies

my love

my life

my salvation

(i'll be counting down the days....)

I enjoy the child-like excitement of the reunion. Most people in this situation consume themselves with the pain associated. I myself could learn a thing or two from this outlook. I also really like how you've made the words one long metaphorical kiss.

This is really done well and I like the title. Some nice rhyming and short and sweet.
