Royal loveA Poem by Aparna KrishnanThird poem in this genre. This is about the love that a person craves to have...It is all about the worldly pleasures which this person has, and how he/she is still unhappy without their beloved.
Royal love
Tufts of gold and rose blooms, silk and splendour throught. Celestial bijou and attar, array the breath around. A lordly sway as here, with a sublime chaise and tapestry, I lie in all frill, out of existence, with a drape of fine aura. Still, dolor seizes the essence, in the midst of this regalia. With thy distanced from land, this doe shrews frippery. Thy a grant of felicity, above metaphors of eminence, Thy art my only opulence, beyond you I know not bliss. © 2014 Aparna KrishnanAuthor's Note
