The Life Of One

The Life Of One

A Poem by apple_to_apple
"

just talking...

"

It's amazing what death can do to you.

It can make you see things differently.

See what you really have and how you should charish every bit of it.

It's better than having nothing right?

I never really knew you.

I never really cared.

Now that you are gone though,

I wish I had have known you,

I wish I had cared ages before now.

The tears come freely now.

What a wonderful summer this has turned out to be.

I feel like someone is missing in the family now.

A black hole has taken your place,

sucking up my life, my emotions.

So sorry for your loss, but as you said death does make one appreciate what they have, a nice write.
