The Manager's _____A Poem by MyraHe watches her Lick dry the mouth of her bottled water without conscious intent of taking anyone along But he watches her still, and has brought Her down to the recesses of his heart where she would walk along the rim of his personal lake Watched each foot leave its mark into the soil and deeper Into the lonely green. If only he could allow just one word Her personality, her flaws, her being had put behind His teeth. . . This woman. He'd cease momentarily while she’d kindly smile at a puff of smoke.
