How I have felt for someone

I grew feelings for someone
I knew I had no chance
I grew so attached
I was in a trance

Why can't you get rid of feelings
As easily as you develop them
It's just not fair
I wish I never had them

My feelings for you were true
But these feelings made me blue
I just hope you find someone
Who truly loves you

Your poem gives the sensations that this narrator is painfully shy. There must be many people who have secret crushes & feel this way, knowing they don’t have a chance, & being too timid to put themselves out there & risk being brushed off like a bug.
