Porch in Heaven

Porch in Heaven

A Poem by Apparition

On my porch

I see round hill's topped by course trees

Horse hoof clatter carried by a cool breeze

Aspen's stretch like waking cats at the beaming sun

A stream criscrosses dreams, and stiches the lands' sunken seems

It seems, On my porch in heaven

Sleeping giants loom like revolution

Humming birds buzz to keep the vibe in constitution

I'm buzzed off chronic plus that cat drank tonic

Remiscin bout livin in that ash tray vomit city

Still had days of almost livin, every situation is a gift given

arisen from livin, but this one is different

Simple like real wisdom, full of beauty like real vision

On my porch sittin, whistlin wind whippin at my hippy hair trippin

Life is real here, real clear, I can feel, smell and hear

see, taste and breathe

Take it easy my bretheren, what's with all the frettin

Decisions can be like painful incisions if you let them

Live and learn, try not to regret them, I miss you

My friends, my brothers

But you left when it was time to recover

To go back to an endless summer

But workin for something is fun(er), and now is the time

To work not to play, to be with the earth

This is a home, this is my home, be it your home, is your choice alone

I'm livin in paradise, not sittin with a few kittens and a bunch of parasites

I miss you my friends

On my porch in heaven

come back again

And sit on this porch
