7/01/2010 Italian Rainbow GatheringA Poem by ApparitionWritten after the first day at the gathering.
Tranquil, vanquish noise 'cept chirp from birds
On angled branches dangle, spiraled leaves to mimmic nature, exceeding viral seeds of danger the sun breeds flames but not of anger To this life, this place, I am a stranger I did not know life could be like this I'm shocked liked touching tazers Herein lies the flavor, I'm my savior Not your' Jesus born of manger Single cell with helix, this is the womb, I am the fetus There is a God inside my kneecaps, in my ankles, feet to arms that wrangle fingers, I can feel the love it tingles in my blood, in my heart, my ever beating engine needed this jump start, this is the fuel that keeps me going, tool so deep it's flowing, I was a foolish creep, not knowing I was truly weak Beauty transcends the depths of skin, not the sex appeal of which they speak, this is not beauty There is only one beauty, one body, one mind, and to find this is my duty I could write a million words or try to to paint a picture first Attempt to calculate, or arbitrate, or desecrate the meaning Instead I will amalgamate with feeling, my reality, my essence and my being On this world there is no ceiling Heaven is not perched above the cloudy girth Its' place is just above the dirt, where I pose on rocks It lies beneath my shirt and socks This is heaven here on Earth.
