A Kiss

A Kiss

A Poem by Apparition
"

About an unexpected kiss.

"
Come stay at the Inn.
That's Inebriated abbreviated,
Don't be afraid to sin, alleviate that sunken chin with a drunken grin
But there's more than alcohol bubbling
Inside the huddle those sun dried puppy dog eyes rumble
with my stern dilated stare, a glare that causes you to stumble
I'm not humble in this moment, my minds open, so you're no opponent
My gaze sets fluttering hearts ablaze, and despite all your rage
You're still just a rodent in need of a new potion, stuck in a
floating jail cell with a sail, in a beer ocean
I knew that I was magnetized to your' fragile eyes
when I first caught glimpse of those globes of emotion
But I can spot a kiss inside a retina
Faster than a doctor can diagnose exema
Now I'm just testing ya, arresting development
Clock hands and sands of time are irrelevant
A kiss always holds bliss in eloquence right?
Not always, but despite follies, feelings flow fondly
Elements of light bond energy with life
And despite your reprise, and sad puppy dog eyes,
and words of scorn predicting my certain demise,
And despite your predetermined opinions about my decisions
I must have done something right
Because a picture is worth a page full of letters
But a kiss lives in some place in space time forever

I am an apparition, a ghost in the system, the host's no longer the victim, the parasite grows weary of the barely alive flesh dressed in a hardly harrowing death caressed mess, stressful doesn't trul.. more..
