31: You Have Given Me Happiness

There is a light.

It is O so bright,

Shinening with longing,

Calling with a dear beckonning.

 

I reach,

Strain my fingertips,

Stretch on my tip-toes,

And reach, reach, reach!

 

Is my arm to short?

Are my legs not long enough?

Or is this light too far?

 

I want to hold it!

I want to find myself within it!

I want this light,

That Happiness

To come to me!

To stay forever!

 

To dwell inside me,

To tell me that Jah has blessed me,

That dear Jehovah

Has taken my depression

And given me happiness!!

 

O has he so?

Tears in my eyes,

I nod,

I smile,

I cry and shout:

 

Jehovah!!

You HAVE blessed me!!

You, and only you! have given me

That desired happiness!!

Jehovah, forever I will love you!!

 

Yes, that bright light

Slips into my hands,

My tears drip into it,

And I raise my head Heavan-ward,

And give Him a smile.

 

You have given me happiness,

O Jehovah!

YOU are the one

I will forever serve!!

 

Loving Heavanly Father,

Jehovah,

He has given me happiness,

No doubt lies within when i say this.

 

My fingers have reached this light,

My arms where never out of reach,

My legs were never short,

But He has helped me see,

Opened my blind eyes

That I have happiness

Within Him.

 

That I will never be alone!

That I AM Loved!!

Jehovah God

Has given me happiness,

No doubt.

 

With Him in my heart,

At the forefront,

I will be able to overcome

ANY obsticle in my life.

 

I will be able to live

And I will always Praise him.

 

Thank You O Jehovah.

Thank You for everything!!

Forever, til time indefinite,

I will love you,

I will serve you,

For You Have Given Me Happiness.
