Keep Your Fingers Crossed Chapter 10A Chapter by Apathy To Empathy~010.00~ My eyes stay locked on her perfect pale white skin. Her crystal blue eyes gleam brightly but, still hold no life.
Dad sits at the island, fuming with Emily at his side. His head snaps up at Cassandra's choice of words. Emily eyes grow wide with horror.
“She's...She's haunting me...” Cassandra says shakily, “And she...wants you...”
I stare.
No one sees her.
No one sees her light blue sun dress with a white lining.
No one but me.
The smell of ginger, burnt cookies, and cigars slowly crawl through the room, making a steadfast home in my nose. The woman I heard dead of just this morning is standing before me. She had been dead for at least four days now. She's in front of me.
She's in my kitchen.
She's watching me.
Me.
“Miss me?” she coos, her words slithering through my ears, down my throat, and coiling around my heart.
My vision clouds over, the black dark world become silent as my cold light head and body reached the ground.
