26: Jump Rope

 Up, and down we go,

Life is slow.

 

Keeping up instead of down,

This world is gonna turn around.

 

Up, and down we go,

Life can me low.

 

Keeping up there so high,

I won't utter another lie.

 

Jump!

Jump up!

Down!

Come down!

 

Life's one big jump rope,

That isn't a joke.

 

We stay up at times,

Even if it's in our minds.

 

We come down hard with a bruise or two,

But it's all we can do.

 

Keeping our minds in the sky,

We won't let ourselves cry.

 

Burring our head in the sand,

We're walking on someone else's hand.

 

Jump!

Jump up!

Down!

Come down!

 

Life is one big jump rope,

And we're the ones jumping,

And coming down.
