 The Sparrow Version 1

The Sparrow lets out a high chirp,

Wondering if the wind hasn't covered it.

 

The young woman throwing food down upon the earth,

Smiles and says, "I heard you loud and clear."

 

The Sparrow lets out another chirp,

High and scared as before.

 

"I hear you, I hear you," the woman says

As she throws more food towards the bird.

 

The Sparrow lets out another chirp,

And fly's away.

 

"I hear you..." the woman began, only to stop,

The birds food scattering about the ground.
