Finding HomeA Poem by ApatheiaI'm running away, I'll be gone for awhile With one pack of cigs I'll leave with a smile I'll never look back I have what it takes To leave this s**t town And all the mistakes I'll break up with you And it will hurt But compared to this town I'll deal with invert My life is a token But it's lost on the road So I'm out to find it Until I grow old Because I'm aching for home But home isn't here I'm searching for somewhere But where isn't clear I'll go to Cali Maybe Washington, too It might take a year It might take a few But it's worth the wait If I can find home So my heart will stop aching And my soul will not roam Maybe in Italy Or maybe Peru It'll be an adventure But it won't fall through I just want to go home Where I'll feel content Where I'll be welcome And be stuck like cement
