Does it hurt?

Does it hurt?

A Poem by Apatheia

Have you ever felt so hopeless -
That it hurts?
You've been shoved and pushed around
Into the dirt.

You were cut from your last string
called love.
You're so worn out you swear you hear
angels above?

You're running out of what's left
of your longing.
All you can think about is
Soon abandoning -
What you call life.

It's something that almost everybody has dealt with. If not- they're lucky.

Life allowed us to learn many things. One is to learn sadness and misery. Old wise saying. When you reach your lowest point. Only one way to go. Up. I like the honest thoughts and strong ending to the excellent poem.
