Dreams and Reality

Dreams and Reality

A Poem by Lily Jo
"

We can all dream about happy and serene things, but we tend to forget that they are just things made up in our imagination

"

A blue butterfly I see,

gently standing on a tree,

with such blessed angel wings,

ahh! such happiness she brings.

White castles in the pure air,

with yellow strings everywhere,

and the wind soothing my skin,

it doesn't stab me like a pin.

The voice of a bird I hear,

I no longer have fear,

a voice so calm and cool,

I'm not saying this is as a fool.

But all over this will be,

when reality catches me,

she shouts to me as I scream,

"This is all only a mere dream!"
