Are we still friends?

I used to wonder if you ever thought about me.

But after time i learned to let it be.

I tried to remain friends and in full contact.

Trying to be nice with greater tact

But you ignored me most of the time

and I rarely heard a peep or a chime.

Facebook says you’re still my friend

But do we still need to pretend?

If we passed each other by

Would you know my name or even say hi?

Right now you have alienated me

Maybe one day you will see

That you gave up such a nice guy in me

Someone who still wanted for us to be

I know we tried to make things work

We decided to be friends not jerks

But it takes two of us to even try

Not just say sure as a total lie

Facebook says you’re still my friend

But do we still need to pretend?

I leave this here as my last lament

Because me and you together was never ment

Falling in love with a girl so far

Left me with the biggest scares

We never got to see where things could have went

Or how much of what we had, had really ment

To throw it all away is a big waste

But we made these decisions in a big haste
