Our Destiny

  

It has been a long time since we met,

But the mood, the weather…everything about today is perfect!

The sun through its heavenly rays was telling me,

“Let go of everything and set your emotions free”

I took a seat and flashed a smile at her,

But there was someone ready to disrupt this perfect moment….Oh god, it was the waiter!

I held her hand in mine and said,”I miss you….

Can we please start our life afresh and new?”

I looked into her eyes and couldn’t believe what I had just seen,

It was something even in my worst nightmares I hadn’t foreseen.

They were running down her cheeks, they looked so crystal clear,

Her eyes held the most precious thing in the world…yes, they were her tears.

She was crying softly and her face was all red,

She looked into my eyes and said,

“There hasn’t been a moment when I haven’t thought of the same!”

And suddenly, a surprise came…

She cutely smiled at me with a twinkle in her eye,

I didn’t know what to do then, should I smile or should I cry?

She said, “Let’s forget everything,

And start from today as a new beginning.”

I said,” My dear, don’t u see?

We are meant for each other, and that is our destiny!
