I have known the life with or within you,

Known your smile, your look, your eyes that's so true!

You turn away while I hold your hand clenched to me,

As you dont seem to see what I want you to see!

 

I see just you and you around and beautiful,

Staring glances to a maiden, and a fool!

But I am falling away with a broken heart

Hanging on your words to give myself a start!

 

If it means a lot to you, you may as well go

But i will still be here waiting and waiting,

Checking my cell for your number to appear,

Have you lately felt that I have started to care!
