Insecurities

Insecurities

A Poem by Anusha Prabhu

Pacing through the hurdles of life

A journey so long…infinite miles

Crying aloud the unseen tears

I’ve forgotten…I've forgotten to smile

Living for the unknown future

Hoping it would turn out right

Nor like the past, neither like today

Hoping to touch the never-reached height

Oh Lord! Why?!..Why would you create life?

A life which prefers death instead

A life with ruthlessly broken motives

It seems much simpler to be just dead!

I like this, it seems real. Everything doesn't have to be structured. It's raw and heartfelt which is more than most. Good effort

The last phrase's nice and it's adorable. Last stanza's been filled with a lot of questions. I'm still analysing your this phrase in deep to know it's deep meaning. Great job once again and your this write speaks well and had contained a lot of meaning of insecurities in a many and different forms.
keep writing.
