End Or A New StartA Poem by Anusha PrabhuThere I was, at the edge of a cliff In the verge, of petting the wrong incline A scuttle into the dawn of the hour Had cost me the soul of liaisons divine
I lost a friend, a divine prospect I miss her now, I miss those caring eyes I miss her presence, to wipe my tears I miss her hug, my paradise
She wept with me, for all the toughs She laughed with me at all my joys She smiled with me for every triumph Nourished my swamps with a smile of coy
That one dusk, I made the choice A resentful, offensive, dire choice I gave up once, but never will I know I’d miss her celestial voice © 2013 Anusha PrabhuFeatured Review
