Life runs in such cycles. Like planting tulips in the fall, it is the frost and the cold that make us stronger. You illustrate this so beautifully. Wonder poem.

Well even the thought of being a child again is so refreshing to me.
a delightful poem...sweet opening birth stanza..." they are all happiness thieves" gave me pause. Who are They ? ...the wind, the rain, the sun? ...they played so softly in the second stanza...could it be the devil wind is a passionate shadow dance?...after the ecstasy then the laundry..."the truth of gloom"?
Or is it Gaia's tempests wrath of hot wind and rain, that is the truth of gloom, till the new bloom of an epoch?

I really like the way you give such an engaging comment.
The joys of youth are to be savored, but they can be deceptive. The sensuous pleasures of verse 2 can make us fearful as time takes them away. Only when we learn that we are part of a cycle that will repeat itself continually will we be fully safe from fear.

The first steps into life and the joy that brings.
If only we stayed young and naive, life sure would be great.
It's definitely the latter part of life that gets in the way of living.

Before my brother passed away, he awoke from a nap and said, "I'm going fishing with my brother." His wife asked him if he was going fishing with Brian who'd been on some recent fishing excursions with him. "NO," he replied, "I'm going fishing with Jeff." Jeff had died two years before.
Your poetic expression is quite lovely. Your lines speak to me of disappointment, probably in young love. However there is strength here. When we hit rock bottom, the only way is up. You know that. Out of the ashes....... Thank you for the read Anuja.
Ps typo in title? Should be first?
