In some ways, poets belong to the night. Strolling in the moonlight, watching young lovers, chasing dreams...
One might even say that there is an inherent romance in our calling. We are the children if another age.
You epitomize this idea in this write. I can imagine you wandering in Paris or seated in a cafe as night falls, notebook in hand, pen poised to write.
Pure magic in these words.

I think those tiny fools really
do know our thoughts after all
we do confide our wishes in them
nightfall brings a sweet serenity

Thank you so much Fran for visiting. Glad you liked it.
Nightfall can bring tranquility. It can bring great beauty. Your poem reminded me of the wonder of star gazing. And how small we are in the overall picture. Thank you for bringing me such lovely imagery and a sense of peace Anuja.

A mystical conversation with the cosmic world….nightfall can be so soothing to the mind, the soul, these creatures beg a deep breath and give one hope for love and free space….I love poems about this, it’s just creative to write about them….very lovely

Like one evening, you are just sitting in the balcony, sipping coffee, adoring the sunset and writing about it. Its my favorite part.
Thanks for visiting and reviewing this piece Betty.
tiny fools knowingly winking, the Stars...mystical observation, on the romantic way home...after discovering the beauty of silence...waking to the cosmic order?...after a conversation with our Star?
your poetry is good, true, and beautiful.
