A child again!!A Poem by Anuja SharmaChasing butterflies felt
kindled, Running around carefree, Now their shimmering
wings look faded, As if the colors from
life wants to flee. Flavored ice made
delighted, Friends, chats and laughter, Now the delicious food
is unappetizing, Fake souls, forged
smiles ever after. Life was like a jingling
garden, Want to visit every
time, Now that fresh leaf has
faded, The pleasant breeze has
lost its rhyme. Adulthood is saddening, Seems like walking down
a stressful lane, Take me back to the
angelic time, I want to live, I want to be a child
again!!! © 2021 Anuja SharmaReviews
