Resurrection!!

Resurrection!!

A Poem by Anuja Sharma

Droplets of your love,

Trespassed on my heart,

Splashed & filled it,

Like a vast cold sea.

And the charm of your caressing waves,

Splendidly, took over me.

Alas, the fence of my emotions,

Couldn’t hold the emerging storm,

Lapsing the miracle of a gentle soul kiss.

And I, hoping to savor the swim,

Drowned in the deep dark abyss.

Like a lost soul,

Measuring the depth of water, alone,

And amidst of the darkness,

A lustrous ray touched the sea stone.

It was you, my love,

Bringing me back to breath,

Resurrected and adored me,

By abolishing the kiss of death...

My pleasure. They are beautiful words. You are most welcome, my friend.
I believe the the emerging storm is the essence of your changing mood, perhaps it was the relationship that took you down to the dark abyss….but alas your love was resurrected…….it is very spiritual, very well written poem

Becuz of your title word, I came to your poem with a Christian mindset, so I couldn't help reading this as if the lover, the savior, is God, or whatever manifestation of the divine one prefers. I do feel there's a stormy love relationship, as you describe with vivid imagery, between most people & their divine entity. Or your imagery could also represent the tug-of-war with the divine within ourselves. All this is conjured up by your words (((HUGS)))

Thank you margie. Really grateful for the review.
Stay connected, keep reading.
Like this poem, you allow the reader into the conversation.
Water and love, they sort of crash together bringing the night alive.
