Storm-The Villain (Part 2)

Storm-The Villain (Part 2)

A Poem by Anuja Sharma
"

Sometimes intense scars in our lives restrains us to move on.

"
The dove was drowning in despair,
Affectionate heart yet the destiny wasn't fair
Took a deep sigh,
Glanced at the rosewood & hopeless sky,
And a beautiful pearl fallen from that teary eye.

Time elapsed,
The forest was gaining consciousness
A cheerful revive was in the lane,
She was healing gradually,
Learning to chirp & tweet again
She saw the fresh blooms on rosewood tree
But this time, love wasn't in her brain.

She wanted to just fly-high & high,
But can love be really disregarded?
The feelings sparked,
When her feet touched the rosewood arm
And a ray of love blinked from the sky.

In the warmth of rosewood,
She was still dejected & scared,
Will the destiny accept them as paired?
Constant fear of losing him again,
Humming in her mind like a miserable birdsong,
Perhaps,
This was not the love she wanted all along.

Love has moved on.
As love must do.
The Rosewood will still bloom.
Just not for you.
Freedom is the sky above.
Telling you to go.
Fly off little Dove
Your destiny.
For you to know.
