Surrelism

A Poem by Antwane Hylton
"

Surrealist Poem

"
The flower falls through an ocean of feathers,
Darkness rises within the hills of a fever,
my ear drops to the ground,
my neck lights aflame on a bed of agony.
A butterfly floats into a wall,
East becomes a rabbit,
a loom walks across a bridge,
the electricity between a pen and a heart.
Thou rib is an ant,
a possum shatters,
the wall of a man,
tie the restraints into a bow.
the teeth of a comb tangle,
be as free as an ice cream cone.
