As You Fly

As You Fly

A Poem by Sean C. Harrison
"

An affirming piece giving the audience encouragement as he/she reaches for his/her dreams and aspirations.

"

Hold fast the dream that sends you high.

Do not swerve as you soar

But fix your gaze on open sky.

Believe in you forevermore.

For you were born to greater things;

Meant to taste the good life brings.

Go to the light that shines for you.

Brave the fight till you push through

For then you’ll know the dream that fades

Is born of effort never made,

But that you’ve tried has proven your worth

And that no more you’ll suffer dearth,

The fountain found was yours to drink

And theirs from fear who never shrink.

Write your tale across the sky.

Tell your story as you fly.
