Ad infinitumA Poem by nathan
Vast as the universe above and beyond this little
speck I call home, My heart within burns a flame imperishable. a starry host of thoughts wreathed in shadow and flame furnaces of hope,co-existing with pits of despair like black holes that suck in all the joy and peace leaving me empty and void. Wants become needs... I turned my eyes to things... Crimson wine, scintillating bling, I ran and hid in cascading smiles in enamoured eyes behind raven curtains of fragrant tress, 'neath towers of mounting flesh wantonly I gave myself and failed and my heart still yearned my gut hungered still until I was found by He who died yet still lives Whose love is deeper than the deeps stronger than the hills and he picked me up and gave me life and now He who ascended to fill the universe without now fills the universe within.
