Dream Me

Dream Me

A Poem by Anthony J

Dream me in vectors

shooting between stasis and obsession,

with levers and pulleys yanking

words from nonexistence

into the lines of my poems and palms.

Dream me lying in white between lines of strict verse,

for I could never rhyme elegantly awake,

and I should like to sleep there if possible.

Dream me, strawberry-at-heart

harrumphing majestic like the Elephant

and shameless of my naked soul.

Dream me thus,

and I will render your every song in shivers

as oak leaves translate the wind.

I have to agree with Nadia B- this is a very beautiful composer in many aspects. Very surreal vibes.. very airy and light yet so deep and expansive. Great piece

Genius, marvelous, intelligent, excellent, and just superb! Now that is a poem, thank you so much for sharing this wonderful poem of yours! The echo of dreams, the imagery, the flow, and the surreal yet mathematical structure you give each stanza is mind awakening, please keep writing (and dreaming)!
