Down hill We Go

Down hill We Go

A Poem by Mbali
"

Respect others as you don't know when they will be of importance to your life

"

As you walked pass the doors, they greeted you with respect

All you said is who cares; you can keep all your wishes

Money made you a bear, didn’t put things to be fare

People smiled at you oh dear, all you said is don’t you dare

You will miss the laughter on the corridors,

As you walked majestically and spitted everything

The ego you had now is gone, you don’t remember anything

An old man now you spit on your chin, One step down you want to sit,

You never realized down you go, majestic walk is never forever

Your eyes will become dim, your mouth toothless

Your hair slowly falling, you forget even your name

As days go old man you become, the point of no return

Peeing in your pants is normal,  dictating people no more

It’s a nursing home not your office, sorry the boss is now gone

The ball is always round, it spins and never stops

You will be top and then bottom, so never disrespect others
