Seven years in a day

Seven years in a day

A Poem by Mbali
"

Hopelessly longing

"
Come to me in my dreams, and then by day I shall be well again
These prayers were always in me, waited for the night more than a pay day
Come travelling like a moon shine, even if covered or partly clouded
I promise I will take you with honor, come to me in a summer day

Come to me in daylight fame, and then by night I shall be well again
I long for you in a lustful bliss, ask  I do, request I change
Must I climb the cliff, swim along the ocean floor
Walk over broken glasses, demand it and I do more

Come to me with snow or rain, and then by summer I shall be well again
Your ideas are there, I should just follow through
So many routes direct me to you, the wheels are turning but the move is slow
Then in solitary place I awake, the darkness gone without a trace

In a roar like lion, as fast as thunder light I prayed, and then in silence I shall be well
Come to me i long for you, all the seven years bring them in one day
For this I can live, a thousand times eternally, without sleepless nights and painful awakenings
Just come home from your travel west, and will be the best seven years of my day.
Come and bring the joy I have waited, I long for you and that's all I prayed
