Another month has gone, out of sight

Watching you grow was always my dream,

But they say dreams sometimes are hallucinations

Far away you are growing without me

I know lord is watching over you

Like flowers left out at night when you sleep

With faith you wake up and take peep

Helping you learn was always my wish

But they say some wishes never come true

Far away learning without me

 I know the teachers are helping you

Like what sunshine do during the day

You will reflect the rainbow when it rains

Being around you was always my hope

But they say keep hoping as long as you live

Not around is all I have been

I know my relatives are around for me

As around as you were in my belly

My love for you the same I carry

I love you the love of mine

And I have the hope, as I wait

But being far don’t make it cool

 I know with time you will feel

As far as I may be my love

You have a little piece of me with you
