A mind of weariness.

A mind of weariness.

A Poem by nadine
"

i wrote this when i was 16, listening to nick drake.

"

Don't you hear me cry
Mama don't want me no more
So let's go
Down to the other side
Where the world's not in our way

You just got paid
and now you're sipping your tea
You're not the same person i'm thinking of
So I'm in anxiety
Thinking you're someone else
Makes me want to break

With a gun and my head
There's nothing left to be read
'Cause I can't picture you
It's just a blur
Like dizzy nicotine
I'm shivering inside
Sorry i made you something else
a fear in my head

But I get so high I just can't come back down
You're running through my viens
Lying under the light
It's not easy to go when i'm still here
and listening to a dead man's words.
