Antidarkness Poetry.A Poem by antidarknessRandom works of poetry by me.
moving slowly or fast? how can you tell when there's nothing to compare to? nothing moving at the same speed, time, or rhythm as you. and are you even moving forward? or are you going back? (2) just being in your space warms my soul. (3) •living in a dream world• I'm not like you, and you're not like me, but maybe we can make that work. (4) do you want to be completed or do you want to be left in parts? because completing yourself takes more strength than leaving yourself broken. and I know for sure you're strong enough for that task. (5) • making progress. • is there ever a time when we get to find out how to help ourselves after everyone else has already been helped? or is that too much to ask? (6) • the edge of the world. • is it naïve to believe that everything has a way of turning out to be okay? (7) • the dreamland awaits your arrival • a wishing well is no good without wishes. (8) • 2 am or 2 pm - all the same. • how do you know when you're finally “good enough” for yourself or someone else? how do you convince yourself that you always have been? (9) if there ever comes a time when you're completely, utterly lost on a winding, neverending road, take a moment to remember how you got there in the first place. you may have to retrace a few worn out steps, but never go all the way back to the beginning, no matter how painless the path back looks. if you have to, make your own trail to get off of that road. anything to keep your feet marching forward. (10) keep it together for the ones who need to see someone else be strong. (11) • magnets. • you are all the beauty I wish I saw in myself.© 2016 antidarkness |
