I Need A Lifeguard

I Need A Lifeguard

A Poem by Zebrah.

Swimming in a sea of piranhas
I'm like shark bait when i see your face
Locked in a cage
Lost in my ways
I should be ashamed
Of the mess I've made

In the shallow end of your heart
Drowning in the memories that i thought were lost
Never had the time to go and pay that cost
Killing myself with what lies on my heart
Ever longing burdens never seem to go away
To me, it always been that way
