It was all you

It was all you

A Poem by ANSO

You say, we only got a physical relationship
That you have never used me
That we shouldn't put any value into it
It's only kisses and who knows what, you say

But who was the one that approached who?
That was you.
Who was the one who got personal?
That was you.

When it was new
You told me about your past
That your father is an alcoholic
That you're afraid of becoming like him
Even though you party a lot
With no control when it comes to alcohol
I told you, you would be fine
That you always have a choice

It was all you,
The approach, the long and frequent text messages,
The meetings, the kisses, the closeness, the warmth, the sex
Your touch was always of someone that was afraid of me breaking into pieces
Like I was a fragile little china doll.

Still you say it's only physical
