My Peggy Sue

 

When we first met you were four

And all you wanted to do was lick your paw

You were the prettiest dog I had ever seen

Your dreadful past had been obscene

When you came to live at my address

This caused you some stress

You didn’t know where you were

You didn’t know if your nightmares would reoccur

A lot of hard work for Peggy Sue

But we just knew

That would work out for me and you

Even though it was all new

Ten years on and you really are the best dog ever

And our love will last forever

I love you so much my little collie-cross

In this house you are the boss

I am so scared of the day that I will lose you

My beautiful best friend, my Peggy Sue

Mama bear this is a sweet and cute poem about our canine friend and family member she looks so characteristic in the photo her facial expression like I am not camera shy but don't be to big headed lol . I like her modesty she does make me laugh at times and when I see her she gonna get a big hug and chew from me because she so funny and amazing she had the same up bringing as I did being mistreated and look what good you done for her. Then you change mine and Jess's life around thank you for giving us hope. we love you, all your poems are so powerful and with different emotions.
