Plague

Plague

A Poem by Anthony

The thought of you is like the plague;
I beg and beg but it remains so vague.

You dance, skip, and jump around.
You look at me with smiles abound.

You come near, kiss me so sweet,
Overcoming the bitterness has been quite a feat.

With a simple gesture, our hands in lock.
The very rememberance of you is a mock.

I miss you through and through,
Like a ship that has no crew.

Being with you was a blast,
But you are in my past.

You have shook me to the core,
But you will plague me no more!
