One In The Same

Amidst your falling lips and hair like the stars, I pick upon your brain, waiting, watching, looking for forbidden signs

You are just like me

You express the abnormal, the rage, the indifferent, and I listen with baited breath, checking for signs

You are just like me

Your tongue clicks and again I am drawn into your spell 

A few more clicks and disappointment rains down on me like acid, eating away at my skin and I awaken

You are just like me

Your scent is toxic and I begin to smell your fumes all around, violently jerking me back to memory

You are just like me

You are an endless cycle of twisted knobs

You are exactly like me
