What You Left, What You Took

What You Left, What You Took

A Poem by A Snake Trying To Write
"

This was a late night vent poem. I wouldn't say that I am proud of it, but I thought it was enough for a first post.

"
You would leave and with you a piece of me would follow
And everytime you come back I feel that part of me again
But without you I'm just a tad hollow
I wish to be with you but if not then,
I will let you go.

You always go.
I always remember.

It started with me seeing you for a second time.
I never knew how much I wanted you before.
Now my emotions only leave through this rhyme
You will never know how much about you I adore.

Because you always go.
And I will always remember.

Nothing less.
Nothing more.

To be left by someone you love was really painful especially when you're really in love with this person. The moment you said "You always go" is heartbreaking because no one deserves to be left behind...
