What You Left, What You TookA Poem by A Snake Trying To WriteThis was a late night vent poem. I wouldn't say that I am proud of it, but I thought it was enough for a first post.
You would leave and with you a piece of me would follow
And everytime you come back I feel that part of me again But without you I'm just a tad hollow I wish to be with you but if not then, I will let you go. You always go. I always remember. It started with me seeing you for a second time. I never knew how much I wanted you before. Now my emotions only leave through this rhyme You will never know how much about you I adore. Because you always go. And I will always remember. Nothing less. Nothing more. © 2020 A Snake Trying To Write |
