y'all know i can't do titles already, i'm sure. so ima Emily Dickinson it just this once.
this came out of my ultra-personal prep file where i keep pages and pages of unfinished, unpolished work, but i thought i would throw it out there anyway

a poem entitled "I used to write poetry" ohhhh the irony. It's like the paradox, "This statement is a lie" waitwhat.
I know what you mean. I have tons of barely legible scraps everywhere, and oh god how I hate some of those works I wrote. They're embarassing just to read, like looking back at your highschool portrait for the yearbook. ugh.
Anyhow, maybe make "angry" "angrier" (to go with sadd-er).?
Prob don't need the last two "and"s, but that's a diction/tone/pace issue, and I could see either school.
Anywho, like the last line. It speaks to the endless creative process.
As the saying goes, a poem is never finished, merely forgotten...
