Save The Trees

Save The Trees

A Poem by Emmy

I am the skeleton of trees
when they have lost all of their leaves.
Shivering as my life blows by.
Without me the sun will still shine,
and you will leave me behind.

This is so heartbreaking to read. Made me think of someone passing. And gone and no one even gave a single thought about them.

thanks for entering this deep moving piece into my poetry competition.
i always look at beautiful trees in autumn here they have lost their leaves they lie on my front yard and in my neighbours (his curse and he has cursed me and asked me to pull this beautiful tree down so many times ) i refuse as I love to see the leaves fall turn brown then slowly get eaten up by the land the ground itself turn into mulch i never rake i let nature do it till they shrivel up all season i love your poem
