My Epitaph

My Epitaph

A Poem by Emmy

Taking a leave of absence
my head was soaked in absinthe

This was never my intention
escaping my minds inventions

Though I should elaborate
words would just evaporate.

I like the motif of this poem! I like how you show that we don't really matter. That life goes on without us. It makes sense to feel down about the fact that things can't be undone, but in the grand scheme, everything we do is trivial and therefore does not really matter.

Good job!

This is a smart piece of writing, and interesting. The shorter the harder, if you ask me, to say more with less. Thank you for posting! I.I.
