Treasure HunterA Poem by Annie N.
I am a treasure hunter,
For I learn to find, The tiny little things That people leave behind. I can find that speck of light, In the midst of a thousand shadows. I can find that shimmer of hope, In the middle of a losing battle. I will find that shining smile, When the world is a sea of frowns, Just as I will find that little child, In the remains of a house that burns down. It pays to be a treasure hunter, For I can share, Those little things That keep the world going round. And I can have Those little things, To keep us from crashing down.
