Sing-a-long

Sing-a-long

A Poem by Annette Jay Sweeney

Twinkle, twinkle, little Gold Star,

how they wonder what you are.

Hide and seek, “Come out, come out,

wherever you are!” Let’s play pretend!

We’ll have a stay-the-night and try on

momma’s shoes. But that’s drag?

I wanna be a queen! I wanna! I wanna!

Somewhere over the rainbow,

a girl’s got a pink triangle on her sleeve.

She’s a pretty princess, and gots a unicorn!

I play pitcher, you play catcher. Lets go!

What’s-a gaydar? Her name's not Butch!
