An OdeA Poem by Annette Jay SweeneyFalling into the sheets.
I enter the room after a long day, look over,
and see you waiting there every diligently. You motion me over, playfully promising to make me forget it all. I may have messy hair, I may have changed into a baggy t-shirt for the night, but you always take me as I am.
I climb on top of you, pulling the sheets up past my shoulders. My eyes shut as your gentle caress relieves my tension, soothes my mind, and readies me for my wildest dreams. My legs curl, toes point, and I release myself to your pleasures.
Bed, I adore you, for you of all give me what I need without question. © 2010 Annette Jay SweeneyAuthor's Note
