Ryan's Poem

 

Strip away my careful layers,

Gaze unflinchingly out from your shade

And tell me you have the key

Tell me that it is possible to avoid each situation that ails me.

I know you tell me of your side

To provide an eagle’s eye
A perspective that until you, I had no way of having

But, you should maybe see about me

My own personal course is nothing you can force

The first time advice is processed in

Its logic will not win.

Escaping to see your view

Is a world I never knew

But this piece of me I will give you..

It is no easy task

To feel so brushed aside

Deemed un able to keep the stride

Left to fall so suddenly

To stunned to even ask

Alone in a world that Wont be controlled

Feeling more vacant than ever should be felt

Pained with confusion

Not as significant now

As the new cards that were dealt

Because the one who should have been there

After making promises to care

Has gone and taken their heart so far

Discarding a love that went nowhere

Yes, my vision was not always widened

With dimension of a world where things are done for good

It was even lessened by my sight removed

When My love given was ignored and tossed away

For so long it seemed I too was lost

Progression was halted in my new existence so filled with resistance

Until I realized just how much power alone I possess-

To change my world and make it sweet;

To love myself as no one had

To realize the Me inside, is not so bad

For you, this prayer:

          Take all the love that you had

-All those feelings that you grew-

and pour it in the being you call You !

This Hell that you are in, this place where you’re alone and don’t know where to begin..

I have been there too

I m sorry I cant be there now with you.

Take the Love you receive in Friendship, from those who care.

If you try, you’ll feel it there.

Grasp it and know its true!

 

Its the one’s who never leave,

The one’s who help you greive,

Their support be sure you notice

Someday they might need for You to say this
