Take Charge and Take Control

Take Charge and Take Control

A Story by Anne In Pen
"

Life is never easy so always remember to take risks because there’s nothing to lose but so much to regret.

"

Let me share you these beautiful thoughts by Robert H Schuller in his book Tough Times Never Last, But Tough People Do! Since reading his book I can say I’ve also been more driven with my life’s goals and my sight in success. By sharing this may you also find enlightenment.

There’s seemingly harmless phrase that has swept the world. People no longer just say, “Good-bye.” They inevitably add, “Take care.”

But I contend it’s wrong to say, “Take care.”Instead say, “Take a chance; Take charge; take control!”Why? Because people who take care never get anywhere! If you want to manage your problem successfully, you need to “take a chance, take charge, take control!”Taking a chance by itself is a reckless risk. But when you take charge you manage that risk. When you take control, you manage your problems.

Take charge, take control, and never surrender leadership. What do I mean by leadership? I’ll give it to you in a sentence: Leadership is the force that selects your dreams and sets your goals. It is the force that propels your endeavours to success.

Abraham Lincoln told a marvelous story about a blacksmith who stuck a long, round iron bar in coals until it was red-hot. Then he put it on anvil, where he hammered it flat to make a sword. When he was finished, he was most unhappy with it. So he put it back in red-hot coals and decided to broaden the flat part out a bit and makes a garden tool. That didn't please his fancy either. He put the the bar back into the coals, rounded it a bit, and then shaped it into a horseshoe. This effort also failed miserably. As a last resort, he put the bar into the coals one more time. He moved it from the hot fire, wondering if there was anything else he could make from it. Deciding that there was nothing he merely stuck it into a barrel of water. At the resulting hiss, he said, “Well, at least I made a fizzle out of it!”

Your dreams don’t have to fizzle. Your life can sizzle, and your problems can be overcome if you will take charge and take control by learning and following the dynamic leadership principles outlined in this chapter.

You would be amazed how many “leaders re unaware of these principles. Before, they know it; they lose control and are defeated by problems they should have been able to manage successfully.

Life is never easy so always remember to take risks because there’s nothing to lose but so much to regret.  I am supposed to write something about cafe24 features but I saw this book and reread it. It always holds such an appeal to me, as the thoughts here in my mind. Now, I won’t only finish my cafe24 features story but also share this wonderful life mantra in your lives.
